One of the best thrash songs ever.  Perfect for Conan.

So apparently I am in the minority not like hardcore metal/slasher/ I'll fucking kill you a hundred times in front of your family music, but I could do some tool and such.

Also maybe some Talking heads if I want to feel skizo enough to just kill any little bunny or deer that wanders by.

Hrmm some galactic, Dr. John, or The Meters keeps me entertained.

By the gods, this is the greatest metal song ever brought into creation. All who disagree ARE HERETICS AND MUST BE BURNED. Sorry, it's just so awesome

I'm still trying to digest the album as a whole.  While I'm glad it's more traditional sounding than their more recent efforts, it still hasn't grabbed me by the balls and made me surrender like the old stuff.

I'll report more as my opinion develops.

I saw Bob Weir and Ratdog last summer, it was my first time seeing any member of the Dead live and it was pretty awesome. Alot of people agree though that Bob Weir is a bastard, and I'm kind of in the middle about that..

Love that brand of blues.  Hey SB, if you haven't ever, check out Paul "Wine" Jones.  Great stuff, especially his album "Mule".

To kick this back up, and in the mood of Blues, Junior Kimbrough ftw.

Not only is he an emotional mother fucker, singing about how, I forget the guy, but another famous Blues singer stole his girl, so he shot/stabbed him in the eye, one of the two... you know the guy.

Anyways the Black Keys cover of Junior Kimbrough, titled Chulahoma: Songs of Junior Kimbrough, is downright fan-fsckingtastic. Quite possibly my favorite Black Keys just because it is so in the spirit of the delta, and their raw style.. playing in basements with really crappy recording equipment; just for that effect.

I rarely play music while I play, but when I do I go with:

Metal: Therion, Kamlah, Arch Enemy, Norther, Lordi ('cause c'mon, any band who sings a song about the "arockalypse" wins ;) )
or
Industrial: Combichrist, Funker Vogt, Aslan Faction, God Module, Amduscia, Hocico, fugg loads of others
or
sometimes whatever random classical, I prefer Bach
